COURSE LOCATIONS
We offer three styles of courses:
- Online Courses: Classes are held on Zoom at regularly scheduled times. Instructors may lecture, project slides, engage students in discussion, and respond to questions just as they would in a physical classroom. Most instructors supplement the live sessions with readings, handouts, and assignments. Most instructors also use an online platform called Canvas to provide supplementary content such as readings, handouts, assignments, and online discussion threads. Please review the course syllabus for details on course delivery.
- On-Campus Courses: Courses are offered weeknights and weekends on the Stanford campus and range from 1 day to 10 weeks.
- Hybrid Courses: Courses are held on weeknights and students have the option to attend class on-campus or online. These classes tend to be large (100+ students).
