The first 15 years of a career are rich with opportunity and complexity. This course equips emerging and mid-career professionals with the mindset and strategies to navigate pivotal decisions with clarity, confidence, and foresight. The instructor draws on their own experience as a leader at Google as well as on the knowledge they gained from career navigation interviews with nearly 100 accomplished executives—ranging from the former CFO and CIO of Google to the CEOs of Snowflake and TaskRabbit. Through case studies, discussions, and actionable frameworks, students will learn to:

  • Build and sustain professional networks and cultivate mentorship
  • Showcase presence and impact at any level, regardless of title or role
  • Demonstrate leadership and position themselves for advancement
  • Make informed choices about career direction, transitions, and timing
By the end of the course, students will have practical, adaptable strategies to chart a purposeful career path during these formative years.
