Speaking in a meeting, interview, or formal presentation doesn’t have to feel scripted or stiff. This course offers a practical introduction to public speaking, focused on delivering well-prepared presentations with confidence, clarity, and natural presence. Students learn how to organize ideas effectively, engage different audiences, and adapt their speaking style across professional settings. Through guided practice, they will prepare and deliver informative and persuasive presentations while developing skills with Q&A and impromptu speaking. The course also addresses common challenges such as managing speech anxiety, using visual aids effectively, and communicating in both in-person and online environments. Designed for immediate real-world application, it helps students become more confident, adaptable, and persuasive communicators in settings ranging from business presentations to client meetings and everyday professional interactions.
Advanced-level proficiency in spoken English is required.
