With AI unlocking untapped potential across industries, crucial questions arise: How do you strategically harness its power? And how do you cultivate an intuitive understanding of the AI landscape? This course offers a flexible framework for aligning AI applications with business objectives, focusing on three core components: developing an AI vision, establishing an AI operating model, and fostering an AI-driven culture. The framework provides students with the practical skills required to bring AI solutions to life, including creating stakeholder alignment, planning for data requirements, and balancing ethical considerations. The course culminates in planning an AI prototype tailored to a specific business challenge, through which students will learn to create both a minimum viable product (MVP) and a minimum viable process to test scalability. By the end of the course, students will be well equipped to lead AI adoption strategically within their organizations, driving impactful business transformation.
This is the second course of a three-course series. The first course, "Introducing AI Systems," was offered in Fall 2024. The third course, “Building and Scaling AI Solutions,” will be offered in Spring 2025. No prerequisites or prior experience with AI are required. Completing each course guarantees priority registration in the following quarter. Each course can be taken independently as well.
