As the workplace evolves with new technologies and faster decision cycles, women who pursue high-impact opportunities will be best positioned to lead with influence and drive meaningful outcomes. Doing so requires earning trust quickly, contributing where key decisions are made, and cultivating a presence others depend on. This course helps you build the clarity, credibility, and leadership focus needed to meet that moment.
You’ll refine an authentic, proactive leadership style by strengthening your negotiation skills, advocating effectively for your ideas and career, and building the relationships that enable collaboration, sponsorship, and impact. Through evidence-based frameworks, real-world case studies, and guided practice, you’ll explore pivotal leadership moments, including taking ownership of high-visibility work, navigating resistance, setting boundaries, and communicating decisions under pressure.
Women at all career stages will leave with practical tools and a clear roadmap to expand their influence, accelerate their growth, and confidently shape the work that matters most.
While this course focuses on addressing challenges women commonly face, the course is open to everyone, and the techniques and strategies taught will have broad application. Since most of the learning in this course takes place asynchronously in threaded discussions on the Canvas classroom site, the live Zoom sessions are limited to 60 minutes per week.
