It is essential for company leaders and managers to understand their organization’s financial condition so they can secure resources to support their projects and develop new strategies to increase their bottom line. This course offers you an opportunity to learn and apply financial basics for business. We will begin with an overview of key financial terms as well as techniques for analyzing numbers and data for business-driven decision-making. You will learn the structure and analysis of financial statements, the interaction between the balance sheet and cash flows, the decision process of investments, basic business valuations, and budget preparations. We will also discuss what you need to know in order to make the right decisions on investments and how to create and interpret business plans. The course will include relevant case examples and opportunities to engage in lively discussions and hands-on activities that will help you learn how to read, understand, and prepare financial information.
