AI and machine learning are transforming business, but for many entrepreneurs and executives, it remains difficult to move beyond the hype and see where real value lies. AI can be a powerful competitive advantage, or a costly distraction. This workshop provides a practical framework to identify where AI and ML create measurable impact, offering an overview of high-value tools, applications, and business cases. We’ll examine large language models (LLMs) and generative AI, including their roles in content creation, customer interaction, and decision support. The course also addresses the data, infrastructure, and governance required to get started, how to assess organizational readiness, and how to define roles, skills, and accountability for AI initiatives. By the end, students will understand the forces driving AI adoption and leave with a structured approach to implementing AI effectively and responsibly.

Familiarity with at least one major large language model (e.g., ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude) is recommended.
