Ready for the next step in your ballet training? Building on the foundation of DAN 40: “Introduction to Ballet,” the course will deepen technique while opening the door to greater artistry and expression. Class sessions will develop posture, placement, and alignment through richer combinations, helping dancers move with growing precision, musicality, and confidence. Each class begins with barre work to build strength and flexibility, then moves to center exercises with faster tempos, longer phrases, and increasingly complex combinations. Building on an established vocabulary, students will grow more comfortable with coordination, spatial awareness, and a sense of line, all within a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Whether you're refining technique or discovering new depth in your musicality, this course invites you to continue your journey into the beauty and tradition of ballet.

This course is designed for students who have completed DAN 40: “Introduction to Ballet” or who have some prior ballet experience.
