In times of stress, resilience is key. In this interactive course, you’ll learn research-based techniques to build resilience, navigate setbacks, and identify your purpose. Drawing on neuroscience and psychology, this course will teach you how to find solid footing when you feel overwhelmed and the strength to bounce back. We’ll begin by looking inward, exploring what happens in our minds when we feel sad, angry, or happy. Then we’ll turn outward to focus on dealing with others. When others cause stress, can you respond constructively? When they’re struggling, can you offer support? You’ll learn strategies to improve your interactions with others and prepare for difficult situations, people, and conversations. You’ll also gain a framework for analyzing and discussing your own mind and emotions, along with exercises to help you evaluate and guide those emotions. Highly interactive sessions will include small-group discussions based on personal reflections, guided exercises that can be self-explorative (meditative) or communicative (spoken), and information from published research.
