Nothing establishes authority like a nonfiction book, whether it’s self-help, how-to, science, memoir, or whatever best showcases your area of expertise. While it has never been easier to publish, it’s more challenging than ever to stand out. No matter how you decide to bring your book to market (we will discuss the pros and cons of self-, hybrid, and traditional publishing), you will need an exceptional book to gain traction.

This immersive course is designed to help you push past procrastination, perfectionism, and questions like: What if I don’t have anything new to say? Am I expert enough? Is my story too personal? Where do I even start? Over one immersive weekend, we will work together to turn your rough idea into a roadmap for the groundbreaking book only you can write. Through engaging lectures, workshop feedback, and hands-on exercises, you’ll hone your idea until you have a unique and marketable “hook,” sketch out your structure, and brainstorm the best ways to build your platform. Past students—including therapists, bloggers, speakers, leaders, academics, and entrepreneurs—have landed agents and book deals based on the methods taught in this course. You’ll walk away with a much stronger sense of the book you are writing, how to finish it, and the best way to get it into the world.
