EVENT FAQs REGISTRATION
How do I reserve my ticket?
Eventbrite ticket reservations will be available ONLINE ONLY through the Get Tickets link above beginning at 8:30 am (PT) Tuesday, June 4. In-person reservations are not available.
How many tickets may I reserve?
One ticket per person. Each ticket must have its own name and associated email address, and match the person presenting the ticket at check-in (multiple tickets under the same name will be forfeited). We want to accommodate as many people as possible; we appreciate your cooperation!
Can I choose my seat?
No. Tickets are general admission only (first-come, first-choice seating).
When does ticketing close?
Reservations close at 5:00 pm (PT) Wednesday, July 3, or when the event sells out – whichever happens first.
The system says the event is sold out. Is there a waitlist?
Yes. When prompted, join the waitlist and fill in your contact information. See the Waitlist section below for more information.
I can no longer attend. Can I release my ticket on Eventbrite?
Yes. Please log into your account and follow the instructions to cancel your ticket. This will generate a notification to the next person on the wait list.
I’m on the waitlist. What’s next?
When a ticket becomes available, Eventbrite will notify the person at the top of the waitlist via email. You will have one day to claim the ticket before it's offered to the next person in line. Please make sure your email client allows messages from Eventbrite to be delivered to your inbox instead of spam/junk folders.
How long will tickets be offered to the waitlist?
We will offer available tickets to the waitlist until 5:00 pm (PT) Monday, July 8.
If I’m not offered a ticket by the event date, can I still show up?
Yes – there will be a stand-by queue at the venue. Beginning at 7:20 pm (PT), available seats will be offered to people in the queue in the order they arrived. Please note, we cannot guarantee everyone a seat.
What time should I arrive?
Check-in and doors open at 6:30 pm (PT). Seats not claimed by 7:20 pm (PT) will be offered to the stand-by queue.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your Eventbrite ticket, either in paper or electronic form. Each ticket must have its own name and associated email address, and match the person presenting the ticket at check-in (multiple tickets under the same name will be forfeited). Also, due to the venue’s fixed ventilation system, we strongly encourage layered clothing for optimal comfort.
If I don't have a ticket, will there be a stand-by line?
Yes - there will be a stand-by queue at the venue. Beginning at 7:20 pm (PT), available seats will be offered to people in the queue in the order they arrived. Please note that we may not be able to offer a seat to everyone in line.
Is food or drink allowed inside?
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please contact the Continuing Studies office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
