2020 Djerassi Creative Writing Retreat: Application Instructions
To apply for the Creative Writing Retreat at Djerassi, please send the following materials to [email protected] by December 9, 2019. Please note that there is a prerequisite: you must have taken at least one prior creative writing course through Stanford Continuing Studies. If you do not meet this criteria, you are welcome to sign up for any of our creative writing courses in the coming year and hopefully join us for the retreat next year.
- Paragraph of intent:
- To give us a sense of how you would like to spend your 4 daily hours of writing time, briefly (one paragraph) describe the project that you intend to work on at Djerassi. For instance, do you want to write a new story or personal essay? Are you working on finishing a section of a longer piece or on a revision? It is fine if you change your mind later; we just want to get an idea of different peoples’ projects and visions for how they will spend their time on the retreat.
