Navigating today’s professional climate requires agility, insight, and relationship savvy. People switch jobs, companies, and careers frequently while managing hurdles like working with challenging personalities, dealing with constant change, and coping with layoffs. At the core of these activities are people—and where humans are involved, psychology always plays a huge role. Those who can effectively navigate workplace dynamics can quickly read environments, adapt to change, and build beneficial relationships leading to new opportunities. In this course, we cover how to:
- Leverage psychological concepts, including a growth mindset and emotional intelligence, to positively influence outcomes in your work
- Identify and defeat mental barriers like cognitive distortions to manage workplace conflict, reduce change fatigue, increase resilience, and build career agility
- Assimilate current and future market trends to create a career hygiene plan and prepare for external career impacts, including economic changes and career switches
