If your love relationship is the North Star that guides your life, how do you make sure it’s stable and strong? The most successful relationships rely on partners' effective communication and willingness to grow and change. As with most skills, this healthy communication can be learned and honed with practice. Can you recognize and appreciate what is working well in your relationship? When there is stress, can you face it constructively? When your partner needs your support, can you offer it? This course is designed for individuals and couples who want to strengthen their communication, shore up blind spots in their awareness of each other, and foster ongoing respect and affection.

In this interactive course, you will build the skills needed to strengthen your relationship using modern communication and psychology research. Through lively lectures, case studies, role-plays, and partner collaborations, students will explore mindful listening and conflict management techniques as well as specific relational communication concepts. By the end of this course, you will be able to recognize healthy communication patterns, discover your own conflict styles, acknowledge communication barriers, and share a deeper connection with your partner for a healthy, long-lasting, and harmonious relationship.
