The confluence of shifting marketplace conditions, the intensifying war for talent, and advances in AI have thrown top-down talent management practices into question. Every business leader must now master the art of change, both for themselves and in support of their teams. Organizations are no longer fixed; they are more like organisms, alive and continually evolving. Leaders who can listen and cater to the evolving needs and aspirations of their employees, while navigating the shifting marketplace dynamics, will emerge as winners. This course will teach students how to create a modern approach to talent management using three learning objectives:
- Learn how to build the key pillars of the HR function and evolve them over time.
- Gain practical experience creating effective strategies for talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, talent development, people analytics, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Develop robust, bottom-up talent management strategies and tools for managing ongoing change in times of economic growth and retraction.
