Looking for insights into how you can increase your emotional intelligence, in order to bring out the best in yourself and others? Want to improve the way you communicate? Want to get better at reading people and giving feedback? These are all potential benefits from learning about yourself and others through the Enneagram. The Enneagram is a time-tested system for self-awareness and growth that is immediately usable in both professional and personal settings. As you practice the Enneagram concepts in class and between sessions, you will start to recognize patterns of behavior in yourself and others, and understand the motivation behind them. As a leader, when colleagues don’t see things as you do, you’ll become aware of when to lean in and when to restrain yourself so you can improve communications and better manage conflicts. Understanding and utilizing the power of the Enneagram can improve your interactions at work—and in life—and help you experience heightened self-awareness and strengthened personal connections.
Cindy Shove coaches her clients to make real and lasting changes, from pivoting careers to repairing relationships. She has taught the Enneagram in enterprise settings and at Stanford, and has created a proprietary Enneagram test. Earlier, she taught college English courses and co-founded and led nonprofit organizations, and she continues as a strategic advisor for small businesses and startups. Shove received an MBA from the University of Toronto and an MAE in creative writing from Notre Dame de Namur University, and is an International Coaching Federation certified coach.
