Success in any organization requires understanding the company dynamics and then modifying our behavior to operate effectively in that environment. If we fail to understand the dynamics, we can’t modify our behavior to operate at peak performance. And even if we do have that understanding, there is still no guarantee that we know how to adjust our behavior appropriately. In this course, we will discuss organizational dynamics and its implications for job selection, job performance, promotions, career reinvention, and change management. Each session will then pivot to group coaching with a focus on building positive behaviors to navigate effectively through each of these career milestones. Through discussions, buddy learning, group and individual exercises, and readings, students will come to understand more about uncovering their career passions and purpose as well as techniques for managing their behaviors in the areas of executive presence, leadership, influencing, networking, managing up, and building a learning mindset.
