The goal of this course is to create optimal results at work by focusing on developing self-awareness and learning how it can be utilized in authentic leadership and work relationships. Neuroscience, learning theory, and management experience all show that social and emotional intelligence are fundamental to successfully working in teams and adjusting to rapid change within organizations. The ability to engage with others in the workplace, utilizing truth and vulnerability, builds trust and improves leadership effectiveness.

In this course, our initial focus will be on self-awareness. Through a series of experiential and interactive exercises, you will explore what matters to you, your goals, your values, how you limit yourself, and how you can be more effective. Next, you will explicitly articulate and integrate a deeper understanding of yourself for greater team effectiveness. You will take these insights and skills and incorporate them into a personal "user guide," a practical description of how you operate, which can help you perform better, and with more awareness, in teams. Your guide will be immediately useful in creating high-functioning relationships that are more productive.
