This workshop is a combination of T-group (“T” is for training) and class exercises. T-group is an experiential way of learning about yourself and others that is the cornerstone of the popular “Interpersonal Dynamics” course at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. We will work in groups, each with a facilitator and approximately twelve students. Activities will also include presentations and exercises with the full class. This is real-time learning with plenty of opportunity to practice effective interpersonal skills and increase your awareness of your feelings, perceptions, and behaviors. You will hone your ability to fully listen, to give and receive honest feedback, and to express yourself more authentically. Wisdom in groups can help uncover aspects of yourself that previously were unseen. The practice you get during this course in building trusted relationships can be applied with friends and family and at work.

Prerequisite: Advanced-level proficiency in spoken English. A high level of participation is also required during this workshop.

Students are required to attend the first four sessions.

Susan Neville, Group Facilitator, Stanford Graduate School of Business

Susan Neville has been a facilitator for the Interpersonal Dynamics course at the Graduate School of Business for over fifteen years. She received an MBA from Stanford.

Campbell Frank, Facilitator of Interpersonal Dynamics, Stanford Graduate School of Business

Campbell Frank works in the investment management industry. He received an MBA and a certificate in public and nonprofit management from Stanford.
