This course addresses the unique challenges product managers (PMs) face in leading products and teams. Through case studies, role-playing, and insights from experienced guest speakers, students will explore the wide range of situations PMs encounter in organizations large and small.
Specifically, students will learn to:
- Balance the competing demands of short- and long-term product growth
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and company leaders with differing priorities and perspectives
- Manage and recover from challenging or failed product launches
- Lead teams through successes and setbacks
This course is ideal for current or aspiring PMs or professionals seeking to elevate their leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Product Management and Marketing Lead, Airbnb
Min Liu is a product management leader with over 15 years of experience in human-centered design, consumer technology, and entrepreneurship. She has led products and built and managed teams at innovative organizations such as Airbnb, LinkedIn, and IDEO. She draws on her background as both a product manager and entrepreneur to teach and mentor the next generation of product leaders. She received a BS in computer science and an MBA from Stanford.
