A crucial tenet of successful project management is adjusting your methods to the type of project. Agile is an alternative method to traditional plan-driven project management. It is used in a wide range of applications to rapidly deliver better products. Originally used for software development, Agile practices are now applied in other areas such as hardware manufacturing, business development, and marketing. Agile fosters greater collaboration and productivity among team members across functional areas.

In this hands-on workshop, we will focus on Scrum, which is the most widely used Agile framework. According to a 2015 survey by the Scrum Alliance, 95 percent of Agile organizations use Scrum as their development approach. Scrum is based on a small number of best practices and rules that can be used to rapidly deliver better software. The principles of Scrum include responding quickly to change and recognizing the limits of planning. Over two days, you will learn the Scrum framework, how to implement it in your organization, and how to apply Scrum to your projects. We will discuss Scrum roles, processes, and artifacts in discussions and exercises. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to more efficiently lead product development teams to higher levels of performance.

He has received PSM, SAFe, PMP, and CSSBB certification, as well as an MS in industrial engineering and business administration from Technische Universit├Ąt Kaiserslautern.
