Are you ready to transform your work-from-home space into a calm, inspiring, and energizing environment? With remote work becoming a permanent fixture in many industries, it's more important than ever to establish a well-designed home office that supports your needs and enhances your work experience. Rooted in the principles of design thinking practiced at Stanford’s d.school and beyond, this course will teach you to create a space that extends beyond mere aesthetics, one that is intentionally crafted to foster calm and inspiration, even amid chaos.
Through engaging discussions with the instructor and hands-on exercises that are fun and informative, we will explore the foundational principles of setting up a calm space. This exercise isn't about creating a sterile environment with everything in its place; rather, it’s about infusing your workspace with purpose and intention. You'll discover how to use elements such as light (inviting atmosphere), color and sound (bright and motivated mood), and furniture (comfort and productivity) to transform your home office into a fruitful, focused, and happy environment. By the end of the course, you'll be equipped with practical strategies and exercises that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine. You'll learn how to create an organized and productive space that promotes peace and clarity while also giving you the freedom to transform how you work so you can learn and grow effortlessly.
