At work, do you find yourself feeling burdened by too many requests, too many employee issues to resolve, and too little time to think strategically? Through mindfulness practices you can improve your leadership abilities. For example, you can learn to set clear goals and priorities, maintain a sense of calm during conflict, listen better during crucial conversations, manage your stress in a healthy manner, and increase your overall emotional intelligence. Leaders who practice mindfulness become more strategic in their thinking and more organized in their daily work life. This course will introduce you to the fundamentals of mindfulness and provide opportunities to practice a variety of techniques in class and between class sessions. We will use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to examine your leadership skills and style as well as what types of mindfulness practices might be best suited to your personality type. Whether you are aspiring to a leadership role or wanting to expand your leadership abilities, this course will provide you with tools and techniques that will keep you grounded and prepare you to successfully navigate any leadership challenge you encounter.

This course includes a non-refundable $70 Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment and report fee to be paid at the time of registration.
