Ready to take your hip hop dance skills to the next level? This course builds on the foundation of "Introduction to Hip Hop Dance: Part I," offering a faster-paced, choreography-focused experience while still emphasizing individual expression and style. Each session begins with a choreographed warm-up and stretch, preparing dancers to refine their technique, enhance their musicality, and develop confidence in their performance. The course will introduce more intricate footwork, dynamic staging, and influences from a variety of styles, including jazz, contemporary, breakdancing, and Latin grooves. Drawing inspiration from iconic music videos and live stage performances, students will deepen their understanding of hip hop’s cultural impact while expanding their movement vocabulary. Whether you're looking for an energizing workout or a chance to refine your dance skills, this course provides a fun and supportive environment to grow as a dancer.

“Introduction to Hip Hop Dance: Part I” and “Introduction to Hip Hop Dance: Part II” will be offered back-to-back on the same evening. Part II expands upon movements introduced in Part I, but each course can be taken individually as well. Prior hip hop or dance experience is helpful for Part II but not required. New students are always welcome to join—and all students are encouraged to sign up for both courses!
