Why are certain people so full of vitality? Why do some people have endless energy? Vitality is a function of our physical, mental, social, and spiritual wellness. Each of these areas contributes to our overall sense of well-being. This course focuses on the conviction that vitality is a learned skill and delivers specific, actionable steps to help students feel energized and lead a full and rewarding life.
Students in this course will engage in a journey focused on improving their sleep, fitness, time management, and social connections. Using content derived from the latest research in biology, medicine, psychology, and spirituality, students will inventory areas of both strength and challenge in their lives, based on their current habits and routines. Scientifically designed diagnostics and in-class activities will help students unlock the door to a higher level of well-being. By the end of the course, each student will create a personalized vitality action plan intended to overcome personal barriers and help them lead a life filled with energy, meaning, and satisfaction.
