Ready to restore your energy, reclaim your mental capacity, and redefine your potential? Many women are feeling increasingly fatigued, isolated, and overwhelmed in today’s world—especially with the added demands of the pandemic. Whether they are due to the challenge of balancing family life with professional aspirations or the weight of personal and professional expectations, certain behavioral responses can leave women with increased stress and negative emotions. But there are ways to prevail. In this course, students will explore their internal challenges and learn to build the mental muscles needed to better manage and optimize personal energy and capacity.

We will ground our work in data analyses from disciplines such as neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness, combined with practical applications derived from professional focus groups in the industries of technology, finance, and healthcare. Through a combination of lectures and group discussions, students will engage in a guided growth experience focused primarily on managing energy sources and energy capacity. We will also practice behaviors such as reframing, reflecting, and boundary setting to help relinquish mental blocks and participate in self-discovery. Students will come away with both foundational knowledge and practical strategies to achieve greater energy, performance, well-being, and impact.

While this course focuses on women, the content is relevant to people from all backgrounds.
