Parking
Parking is indicated on the map mailed with your registration confirmation. University parking regulations are in effect Monday-Friday only until 4:00 p.m., and parking for most evening courses is free. For information on parking during regulated hours., call the Office of Public Safety at (650) 723-9362.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CONTINUING STUDIES OFFICE
** Please Note** The Memorial Parking Lot is no longer accessible due to construction. Paid parking is available on Memorial Way. Other paid parking lots include those at Tressider and the Track House. CLICK HERE for a PDF of the Visitor Parking Map.
Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon; 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. During the first week of classes, the Continuing Studies office remains open until 7:15 p.m.
From Highway 101 (North and South)
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street. Stay in the left lane and continue down Galvez across Campus Drive. After passing Memorial Way, turn right into the Visitor parking lot. Once parked, walk up the paved walkway called Galvez Mall between Encina Hall (on the left) and Lou Henry Hoover Building (on the right). Continue along Galvez Mall until the walkway forks to the right. Our office is located on the left-hand side of the walkway in a beige modular building.
From Highway 280 (North and South)
Exit Sand Hill Road east towards Stanford. Continue downhill and turn right on Santa Cruz Avenue. Make an immediate left at the first light onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second stoplight, Campus Drive East. Continue on Campus Drive around to the front of campus and turn left onto Galvez Street. After passing Memorial Way, turn right into the Visitor parking lot. Once parked, walk up the paved walkway called Galvez Mall between Encina Hall (on the left) and Lou Henry Hoover Building (on the right). Continue along Galvez Mall until the walkway forks to the right. Our office is located on the left-hand side of the walkway in a beige modular building.
From El Camino Real (North and South)

Driving Directions, Main Quad area
From Highway 101 (North and South)
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. Embarcadero turns into Galvez Road. Continue until Campus Drive. Turn right on Campus Drive East and continue around to the backside of the university. Turn left onto Palm Drive; Palm Drive dead-ends at "the Oval." Park as near the Oval as possible. The Main Quad is the building directly across the street (Serra Mall) from the top of the Oval.
From Highway 280 (North and South)
Exit Sand Hill Road west towards Stanford. Continue downhill and turn right on Santa Cruz Avenue. Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second stoplight, Campus Drive East. Continue on Campus Drive East and turn left onto Mayfield Avenue. Turn left, continuing on Mayfield Avenue, and then turn right into the Tresidder Union parking lot (parking is free after 4:00 p.m.). Continue on foot past Tresidder Union on the left and the Stanford Bookstore on the right, down Lasuen Mall (past the Clock Tower). The Main Quad is on the left.
From El Camino Real (North and South)
Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue. Take University Avenue West (Palm Drive), away from Palo Alto. University becomes Palm Drive. Proceed down Palm Drive past Campus Drive and onto the Oval. Park as near the Oval as possible. The Main Quad is the building directly across the street (Serra Mall) from the top of the Oval.

Parking Suggestions, Main Quad area
No parking permits required after 4 p.m.
The easiest parking is on the Oval. However, the Oval parking can be congested in the evenings. You may also park further back on Palm Drive, along Roth Way or Museum Way, both of which cross Palm Drive.
Another parking area is the parking lot behind Memorial Auditorium. From Palm Drive, heading into Stanford, turn left on Campus Drive. Turn right on Galvez Street, then turn right on Memorial Way. You may park in the parking lot just behind Memorial Auditorium. There is also parking along Galvez Street itself, or along Memorial Way.
Buildings 380, 420, 460, 160, and 200 are all located on the part of the Main Quad which faces the oval. For Cummings Art Building, walk to the far left-hand (eastern) side of the Main Quad and proceed a short distance up Lasuen Mall. Cummings will be on your left, just past the old Art Gallery.
The two most frequently used classrooms in Cummings Art Building (Room 2 and Room 4) are in the basement. After you pass the old Art Gallery on your left, turn left and head for the stairs going to the Cummings Art Building basement. You may turn either way in the basement hallway to reach Room 2 or Room 4; the hall makes a complete circle around the basement.

Driving Directions, Tresidder Union Area
From Highway 101 (North and South)
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero becomes Galvez Road. Continue on Galvez Street until Campus Drive. Turn left on Campus Drive. Turn right on Mayfield Avenue. Turn left, continuing on Mayfield Avenue, and then turn right into the Tressider Union parking lot.
From the parking lot, walk down hill past Dinkelspiel Auditorium on your right. Continue downhill and slightly to your right, heading for the fountain in front of the Stanford Bookstore. You are now on Lasuen Mall, the pathway which leads to the Main Quad. Continue on Lasuen Mall until you see the clock tower on your right. Building 260 is the next building on your left, just past the clock tower. The School of Education is just beyond the clock tower, on your right. To get to Meyer Library, turn to the right and walk past the clock tower; Meyer will be straight ahead (to find your room, please read our Meyer Library guide).

Meyer Library Guide
The most commonly used rooms in Meyer Library are the Meyer Forum Room (also known as Room 124) and Meyer 260. For both rooms, turn left and go around the library until you reach the U-shaped entrance area, directly across from Green Library (near the "hoop" fountain).
Meyer Forum Room (Rm. 124) is on the right-hand side of this "U" shape, as you face into the library. The Forum Room opens directly onto this U-shaped entrance area; you do not have to go into the library.
For Room 260, go inside the library and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Head to your right and to the back of the library. Room 260 is in the southeast corner of the second floor of Meyer Library. Please ask at the desk on the second floor if you need assistance.
For other rooms located in Meyer Library, please ask for directions at the desk on the second floor.
DIRECTIONS TO WILBUR MODULES
From Highway 101 (North and South)
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero becomes Galvez Road. Continue on Galvez Street until Campus Drive. Turn left on Campus Drive. At the intersection with Bowdoin Street, turn right into the parking lot.
You may park anywhere in this parking lot. The Wilbur Modules are the three modular buildings to your right as you enter the parking lot. They are labeled A, B and C. Module C is the one closest to you as you enter the parking lot; Module B is the middle module, and Module A is the farthest from you as you enter the parking lot.
