In this hands-on course, students will learn basic graphics production skills for the Web. Topics will include an overview of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Fireworks, digital image basics, image formats, image manipulation, digital camera and scanner usage, finding free artwork on the Web, rollover effects, image maps, and how to use “slicing” to make images seem to load faster.
No previous HTML experience is necessary, although students must have access to a computer, be familiar with computer basics, and have access to the Internet.
